Get Email Counter

You might have noticed the tweet counter we have with all our posts. This Tweet counter actually helps you to Retweet the link of the post to your Twitter followers in case you like what you read.

Here is a website which allows you to introduce a Mail Counter for your posts or articles on the web.

The counter adds up the number of times a post has been shared via email. All it requires you to do is add a Java Script code into your website (see image below).

Java Script code for Email Counter

It also has support for Wordpress where in you can enter a different code into your single.php or index.php files. Do look up their website for the code.

Majority of subscribers still subscribe to a blog through e-mail rather using feed readers. This feature makes quite a bit of sense considering that a lot of people might want to share your content with email.

Hope you like the Email counter and find it useful. Let me know what you think about it through your comments.

Translate your search query in Google

Posted: 08 Dec 2009 02:14 AM PST

Google Search has inducted another feature which gives the user the option to translate the keyword which is being searched into another language.

If you just type in the query and hit search while on Google.com, you will obviously get a list of results. Click on Show Options. Check within More Options which shows up on the right hand side of the screen, go right down to Standard Results and you will see an option to click on Translated Search.

  • When you click on Translated Search the Results box appears at the top above all the search results.
  • Here you have the option of adding another language into which you want to translate the query.
  • Within those results of the translated query there is an option to Show orginal text which shows the text in the language added.
  • It supports 42 language as of now, but the only Indian language supported was Hindi.

Below is a video demo on how to use Translate Search with Google.
