How to change Eye color in Photoshop? [Tutorial]

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to change eye color using Photoshop. We can see a lot of tutorials about changing the color of the eyes but here I am going to keep it simple.

As you see in the image above you see the grey colored eyes being transformed into blue.

The Original Image

First thing to do is to create a duplicate layer of the image. Just select the image layer and Press Ctrl+J for a duplicate layer.

Now I selected the above Image Layer and made a selection around the eyes. Here I use the Pen Tool.

Be careful while you make the selection around the eyes and make sure it resembles something like you see in the image below.

Now repeat the above step for the other eye in the image.

Make sure you are on the selection done to the eyes and go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation ( Ctrl+U) and click on it.

Here we see the Hue/Saturation pallet display on our screen. Keep the Hue Value – 200, Saturation Value – 30, Lightness – 0, and keep Colorize Check Box On.
You can take any value as you like. It depend on which color was you have given to Eye’s.

All right now Deselect the Eye’s selection just Press Ctrl+D to deselect the selection and here we got our Alter-net color of the Eye’s.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Review

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Review - Android operating system is increasingly in demand adopted by vendors of smart phones (smartphones). Sony Ericsson, for example. Xperia Series X10, X10 mini, and the X10 mini-pro, which was launched some time ago, claimed to be the best Android multimedia smart phones available today. Facilities Xperia X10 includes 8.1 MP camera (16x digital zoom), 1GHz processor, 4-inch OLED screen, GPS, and 8GB MicroSD. ADSL dropouts and phone filters

This seemed like a common problem at first:

Customer purchased a new cordless phone, plugged it in, and now, whenever the phone rings (or a call is made), his ADSL internet connection drops out for a few minutes.

In most cases this just means the new phone is connected to a new outlet that doesn’t have an ADSL filter connected.

So I go to plug in a line filter, but find that the phone doesn’t work… no dial tone, nothing.

Next step is to try a normal “corded” phone… these are getting rare nowadays…

Well, I get the same problem… no dial tone… the phone line is dead.

So I ask: have you ever used a phone on this outlet before (I’m starting to think that the phone plug either goes nowhere, or it was for a second phone line).

But the customer is sure it was used for a phone a few years ago.

OK, maybe some corrosion on the contacts… this is one of those old-fashioned Australian plugs from 20 or 40 years ago… about 1 inch square.

So I insert and remove the plug about 5 times… and the phone now has a faint dial tone… but the line quality is very noisy.

I try another 5 “in and outs” to remove some more corrosion, and the phone line now sound good.

Now I plugin the filter and the phone goes dead again… hmmm, maybe a faulty filter… some filters are more problematic than others…

I try a different filter, and the phone is now working again.

I now plugin the cordless phone, and it too is working.

Next, I make a call while watching the ADSL modem, and it maintains an internet connection while I call.

All fixed! (but with a few minor hiccups along the way!).

Create and save images with flame effects: Flame Painter

Have you ever thought of playing with fire? I discovered that I could while going through this Photoshop tutorial by Sebastiano.

The Flame Painter is a java enabled online application which enables the user to create visuals using flames. The purpose behind creating this interface was to ensure that everyone can be an artist. The tool is easy to understand with a few basic features common to most illustration oriented software.Apart from setting the HSB, there are other features such as noise, focus, opacity, chaos and most importantly eraser. After creating your artwork, the unique feature which distinguishes this application from the others created by Blaskovic, is that it can be saved. The saved image opens up a new tab from where you can download it your computer.

The other options apart from the Flame Painter include the Fluid Painter, Pixel Animator as well as online games such as The Others and Fluidz. For me though, Flame Painter steals the show. It's a visual treat and an excellent stress buster. It is actually quite addictive.

Run multiple IE browsers on your PC?

A web designer wants his web-site to be visually same across all the browsers. Amongst other browsers or even the latter incarnations of Internet Explorer, IE 6 is a very different animal.

We always want to test web-sites in various IE versions IE6, IE7 and IE8 for browser compatibility. But it is always difficult to test on different machines.

There are certain ways to test website on various versions of IE which is mentioned below.

What I used to do is to install 3 operating systems on a machine for IE testing, but it consumes a lot of time.
We can also make use of IE Tester but in some cases I found this unreliable, so I prefered to avoid it.

But I came across an excellent way to run multiple version of Internet Explorer on standalone computer.
