Google has recently become aggressive. Only recently at their Google IO developers conference it mocked Apple’s obsession with control over its products. Now Google Apps is pitching itself aggressively to companies large and small and trying to convince them to switch over to Google Apps to handle their business needs.

Google has also launched a online calculator which is a fancy way of showing a presentation to you explaining why you need to move over to Google Apps which uses cloud computing.

Google Apps is used by many companies large and small along with many educational institutions.
A key advantage is the familiar Gmail interface and many of its features like Google Docs and Calendar. Also since the data is saved online security updates do not need to be downloaded and installed thus saving valuable time.

Devil’s Workshop Monthly Traffic Report: May 2010

Like every month we are sharing our Monthly traffic report here at Devils' workshop and it's always help us to motivate to do better. This month our traffic has increased by few thousands visits and we have increased the frequency and quality of our articles. More over guest bloggers started taking more interest and if you wish to blog at Devils' Workshop, do read about our revenue sharing program.

Here is our monthly traffic report:

Our traffic has increased by almost 20K but the downside is bounce rate.One major reason for high bounce rate is our top landing posts don't have much related articles and we discontinued writing about certain topics. Though we are trying our best to focus on technology niche and if we exclude those top posts,our bounce rate is decent.

Anyways, here I'm also sharing our traffic source, this will help you to get more ideas about from where we are getting traffic and in case if you ignoring that part of traffic, you can always give it a shot:

As you can see most of our traffic is coming from search engine and organic traffic is always best for monetization and specially for Google adsense.

I had been to this website just a couple of days ago. Today, I noticed a feature in pho.to which can make emoticons of our own face by detecting each part of your face. Do you Have a pic with the best background, but your face with no smile? Then pho.to cartoon is what you have been hunting for.

How to turn a weeping pic to a smiling one?

Visit cartoon.pho.to and upload an image you want to animate. Then select the type of emoticon, wink or smile.
Check Animate if you want it as a .gif file or keep it unchecked if you want it to be a still image with the effect in action.
Set the photo size of your choice and then Apply.
You can use this website without the need to register but if you do register you can save your photos online where as if you are not registered the photos are deleted after 12 hours.

There are other features like Photo editor, Photo enhancer and more in the pho.to website. But only pho.to’s cartoon made me write an article about it.

There are many tools like winrar, winzip for zipping and unzipping files. But sometimes when you want to unzip a file at your work place and you don’t have a unzipper installed on PC, then what will you do ? So, always a online unzipper will be the best option anywhere at anytime. Just upload the zip file and hit the button to download the files which are zipped inside.

1. WobZIP -

WobZIP is a free online tool that allows you to uncompress your files online. Now you can unzip your files in school, at work or anywhere as long as you have access to the Internet. It scans your compressed files using an anti-virus(Bitdefender) scanner so any infected files will be removed before you download them onto your computer.

2. Open RAR File -

Open Rar File is an online archive creater and extractor. You can unzip files which supports zip, tar and tgz file archives. To unzip a file, simply go to the unzip section and upload your archive.

3. Filetac -

If you want to zip files online, then try Filetac. It is a simple online app, where you can Upload your files and get one zip file to download. Just browse the files and It will upload all your files and creates a zip file for you to download. The maximum number of files you can upload are 30 files and each file has a size restriction of 10 MB.
