Vancover 2010 Winter Olympic Games: Alexandre Bilodeau Freestyle Moguls Gold Medalist

Posted: 16 Feb 2010 01:32 AM PST

It's way past my bedtime but here I am still wide awake. I was just done watching the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics on King5. I had a great time watching the Freestyle Moguls competition. The 22-year-old Alexandre Bilodeau beat the hotly fancied defending champion Dale Begg-Smith of Australia into second place in front of an ecstatic crowd on Vancouver's Cypress Mountain. Alexandre Bilodeau became the first Canadian to ever win an Olympic gold medal in the Men's Moguls. Alexander Bilodeau was given the Olympic Gold Medal for Mens Moguls on Monday, February 15. While USA Olympian Wilson Bryon grabbed the Bronze Medal.

Congratulations to all! Go team USA!

Stubborn Heartburn

Boy, my heartburn is acting up again. It's been months since the last time I took any med. Honestly, I don't like taking any drugs but last night, the pain became unbearable so I had no choice than to take my Prilosec pill along with the Colostrum. Like me, there are probably some people don't like to use any med such as acne cream but ended up using it for their own good.

Climber Falls Into Mount St. Helens Crater

Posted: 15 Feb 2010 06:41 PM PST

I was watching the King 5 News and found out about a 50-year-old man fell into the crater of Mount St. Helens about 1 pm on Monday. The climber was accompanied by another person but that climber was safe. Another climbing group witnessed the fall and was able to call 9-1-1. Hope this man will make it out.

A climber was reported to have fallen into the crater on Mount St. Helens Monday afternoon.

Apparently, the 50-year-old climber was about 5 feet from the edge on a cornice when it gave way at about 1 p.m.

A helicopter in the area responded and was able to locate the man on a 45-degree snow slope about 100 yards below the crater rim.

Undersheriff Dave Cox says the helicopter was unable to pick him up because of high winds and whiteout conditions.

A Coast Guard rescue helicopter has been called, but it is uncertain if the climber will be rescued before dark.

A ground rescue team is being organized. - king5.com
