This is the most obvious one for beginner who is learning about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and probably the only one that could be thought of by most novices. If the content hopes to be searched and resulted in search engines such as Google or Yahoo, the very basic method is to have enough keywords in the content. For example, if you are talking about SEO, you have to use enough keywords like SEO in your content, otherwise, the page ranking of the site will be low and your page will not be easily searched from those search engines. However, if too many keywords are used, it might be considered as cheating. To be able to use enough keywords in your page, a more nature way of speaking or writing in your content is more encouraged and recommended.

Because of the HTML page making tools such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver, these tools have dramatically reduced the level of difficulties of creating a webpage. Due to these tools, many of webpage writers or bloggers do not know what the HEAD section is and probably ignore the importance of it unintentionally. Generally speaking, a newer page sometimes is better than an old page. Think of this way, if you are looking for information on the internet, you want to look for the newest news or something that was dated 5 or even 10 years ago. Search engines might also consider the updates of web pages, if you want to keep you pages more searchable, update your pages often.

If you use a lot of acronyms in your content, you would be better off explaining what they stand for. This will also increase the visibilities to search engines. Some search engines not only include the acronyms but also the explanation in databases.
