People have been saying that this year won't be as bad as the previous one. Dubbed as the Year of Thaw, 2009 was full of economic challenges and roadblocks. Some economic doomsayers were even blunt to predict a full-blown financial meltdown—with companies folding up, currency value going down, and people losing their jobs. 2009 was to be a year of all pain, and no gain. I am so glad the despite some hiccups along the way, my family and I survived the previous year.
