Most people regard garden as one of their comfort zones and this is true because it’s where they can feel refreshed and relaxed. The atmosphere we see in a garden give us tranquility that sets our peaceful mood whenever we set our foot on it. | Bring touches of spring into the bedroom Posted: 23 May 2013 03:40 AM PDT Spring is a famous time for cleaning, but it's also a great time to freshen up the inside of your house. You may not have the time or budget for wholesale interior remodeling, but there's a lot you can do by livening up your interior decorating. After a cold and gray winter, spring is a time for renewal and growth, so it's great if your decorating suggests these themes. The bedroom is a particularly good place for making your décor more spring-y. It's easy to change many elements of the décor in your bedroom and it will brighten your mood every day.
Beds: The bed is usually the focal point of any room, so your spring makeover should start here. First, you should replace heavy winter bedding with lighter bedding for a warmer season. Replace the comforter with a quilt or light bedspread and take out those flannel sheets in favor of light cotton sheets. Next, you can choose bedding whose colors and patterns evoke spring.
New Colors and Patterns: Floral or botanical patterns for the sheets suggest a season of new growth and renewal. If you aren't crazy about these types of patterns, think about focusing on spring-y colors that suggest freshness and the outdoors – sky blue, bright yellow, yellow-green, and even pink. Accents: If you don't have the budget or the time to purchase new sheets, you can still suggest a spring theme with some accent pillows in springy pastel colors or with patterns that suggest flowers, animals, and plants. It's also simple to add a throw rug in spring themed patterns or colors. Crocuses, daffodils, and tulips are all early-blooming flowers that suggest spring. But your greenery doesn't need to be limited to flowers. You can install plants in pots or hanging baskets in the bedroom to remind you of what Mother Nature is doing outside.  |

 It had been about 30 years since I had been to the Magic Kingdom, when the time had come to return with my own children. I imagine there have been some changes over the years; but all of my "favorite" rides were still there: the Matterhorn, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and last but not least, the Pirates of the Caribbean. The Thunder Mountain Railroad happened to be closed on this particular day; but the others were up and running. Therefore, I was able to introduce my oldest, at 8, to the roller coasters. She loved it and didn’t even flinch. We spent about 8 hours at the park, and the staff was helpful and friendly as usual. I was also impressed by the use of CNG fuel in the trams, as this is one of the cleanest combustion fuels.
Disneyland is one of those great American icons, and every American child should get to experience it at least once in their life. I think this was my third time. I plan to take the family there again as the kids get a little older, and hopefully I will someday return with my grandchildren.
