It is always exciting when you get in touch with long lost friends. That's what happened a few days ago when I suddenly received a friend request on a social networking site from someone whose name I do not recognize. The profile picture did not help either because it was of a cartoon character. I looked into this person's information and the only similarity we have is that we graduated from the same university. I sent her a message asking her who she was. I told her that I do not accept friend requests from people I do not know. I also explained that I do not intend to offend her in any way but I am just being cautious.

The next day, I received a response from her and I found out that she is indeed a close friend from school. She is using her married name that is why I didn't recognize her surname. We have lost contact after we graduated and she moved to another city so I didn't know how to get in touch with her. Now that we have established contact again, we regularly chat online and even exchange emails.

We were supposed to meet next month but she has an itil financial management seminar to attend for a couple of days. She said that their company is planning on implementing it chargeback which they hope will help them manage their IT resources properly. Their company is keen on finding the right it cost management system that will suit them best. Anyway, I just hope that we'll get to see each other again since it has been years since we last saw each other.

My cousin got married over the weekend and we stayed at a hotel for three days and two nights. The kids were so excited because aside from staying in a luxurious room, they get to spend time with their cousins. We actually had a hard time making them sleep because all they wanted to do was play. We also get to enjoy the different hotel amenities. We woke up early to go to the gym and spent an hour exercising. We also had fun swimming with the whole family in their huge swimming pool. I wonder how many hot tub filter they use each week for a hotel that big. My aunt even commented that if she wins the lottery, she will have a hot tub at every room. My husband loves to watch action movies. Whenever there's an action movie on cable TV, he would take the time to watch them. He said since he cannot watch them on movie theatres since we cannot take our children to watch them, he would just wait for it on cable TV. He was watching this big-budgeted action movie the other night and since I didn't have anything else to do, I decided to watch it with him. The movie was about the military defending the country against terrorists. They have guns that have laser sights which are useful especially do during life-threatening situations.

The tactical scopes that they used is also amazing. I think those are specifically designed just for the military. Sniper scope was also used by one of the main characters who played a marine sniper. I told my husband that in real life, the government must really allocate a huge part of the nation's budget to the advancement of the military since the threat of terrorism is real. Every step should be taken to ensure the safety of the people.

It was a good movie and I actually enjoyed watching it. My husband reminded me to check out the schedule of movie channels once in a while so that we won't miss any good movies that will be shown. He said that we may even find some family-oriented movies that we can watch with the kids.
