TweetPsych – Get your psychological profile form your tweets! Posted: 03 Feb 2011 06:45 PM PST People use Twitter for various reasons. Some people use it to comment or share funny jokes or catch up on the trends around the world. Some people tweet a million links a day to spam the timeline of their followers in the name of marketing. I have always wondered, if how you use Twitter indicated the type of person you are? Obviously this is not an exact science at all but TweetPsych, gives some interesting analysis of your psyche, based on what you tweet. Just visit the website and type in the username of any open Twitter account. Within seconds TweetPsych creates a report which gives a lot of interesting information on what you really tweet about. For example it when I checked out my psychological profile based on my Twitter account, it indicated I tend to share a lot of things which are about the media, learning, positivity and thinking as you can see in the image below. It also shows that I do not tweet about money, social and even about the past. I think being a blogger I should be more social through my tweets. It had never occurred to me that I might have been a little to focused on Twitter and might not be sharing much. TweetPsych can give you pointers in this way about what to expect form an account that you follow. Do try out TweetPsych and let me know if they have read your twitter account correctly? Hooeey Webprint: Keep track of every web-page you visit! Posted: 03 Feb 2011 05:35 AM PST Feels like you are shouting "Hoeey", the word itself is an interesting product though. Hooeey is basically a web-tracking software which automatically keeps a track of all your activities on the browsers – Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Hooeey Webprint basically is enhanced to automatically capture real-time screenshots along with a small thumbnail of the webpages you open while browsing. These are not just screenshots but the recorded websites are completely text-searchable. It even saves the entire HTML of the pages captured. The only thing which disappoints me is no support for Chrome is available. Hooeey Webprint provides support for the following two browsers:
Few of the features of Hooeey Webprint are:
For a better understanding of how Hooeey Webprint work, I would suggest you should try it once. However if you are not happy with the way it works, do not forget to delete the saved pages using the option available in the application itself. Let me know what you feel about this application. Android overtakes Symbian by 1.9 million sales! Posted: 03 Feb 2011 02:10 AM PST Even if you think it doesn't matter how far Android can go, 'I will stick to Nokia', then I must tell you that Android has now officially broken all records with higher sales figures than Symbian in the last quarter of 2010. What's more interesting is that while Android's popularity has been ever on the rise, Nokia has adopted Symbian and have started to develop it in-house. Now we need to wait for the future which will tell us whether this was a bad business move by Nokia or not! The survey conducted by a Research firm "Canalys" which revealed that while Symbian sales stood at 31 million, Android managed higher sales at 32.9 million smartphones during the last quarter of 2010. The sales were possibly fuelled by exciting handsets launched by Samsung, LG and HTC. I am not predicting that Nokia's strategy to become the leader in Mobile Technology is a failure, however Nokia must be very careful with its plans there are a lot of Nokia lovers out there specially in India. Will Nokia manage to take Symbian to a new level ? Do drop in your comments. Source: Canalys Related posts:

How To Add Blogger Sitemap To Google Webmaster Central Posted: 02 Feb 2011 10:00 PM PST Do you want your blog on Blogger get listed on Google Search? For that you first need to submit a Sitemap to Google through Google Webmaster Central Tool. For those who don't know what a sitemap really is, it is a file(.xml, etc.) containing all the links available on your website/blog which helps a Search Engine crawl your blog/website better and index it. Here in this tutorial I will tell you How to Add your Blogger Sitemap to Google (even if you're using Feed Burner). How To Add Your Blog To Google Webmaster Tool
If you are not using Feedburner:Fill in the site map as atom.xml OR rss.xml and click on Submit.
If you are using Feedburner:Fill in the sitemap as atom.xml?redirect=false and click on Submit. After submitting your blog's sitemap, wait for sometime and then reload the page. Now a green tick should appear in front of your sitemap URL (this means that your sitemap is valid), if it is replaced by a red cross then it means that you sitemap is not valid (Recheck the Sitemap URL again and then resubmit). Now, all you have to do is wait for Google to index your blog's links on Google Search. Yes, it will take some time to get your blog indexed on Google (maybe 2-5 days). Did you find this tip useful?
