Aviary Launches New Online Music Creator

You all might have knew, the Aviary Image Editor. Aviary image editor is one of the best online editors around the web. Recently they have changed from paid one to a fully free online application. The same company has launched the new online music creator tool. Aviary’s music creator turns anyone into a musician with a few simple clicks.

Now anyone can create music and beats completely from scratch and right in their browser, by simulating almost 50 different instruments, ranging from common instruments like various drums, pianos and guitars to orchestral instruments like harps and flutes to more obscure (but fun!) instruments you may never have heard of like the balarimba and hammered dulcimer.

Aviary’s Music Creator is incredibly simple and yet is also full featured, allowing more advanced users to mix and match any instruments – and even record your voice or upload your own custom sounds.

There is no restrictions for the music composed, you can use it anywhere and everywhere under Creative Commons license.

You can download your compositions as mp3 file or use it directly on music director to make your own mp3 ringtones.

Twitter starts teaching simple basics of twitter like how to tweet, what is retweet, what is timeline etc. They have started making video tutorials to help the newbies on twitter.

The recently launched Twitter help center has now some good howto videos on "What is Retweet?" "What is Following?" "What is a Timeline?" and "How to Find People and Be Found". All these videos are made by Twitter and they have also set up a YouTube account for these videos.

Ipad Hacking: FBI Investigation

FBI is investigating a security breach of ATT’s website that allowed hackers to obtain the email addresses of iPad owners.
‘The FBI is aware of these possible computer intrusions and has opened an investigation to address this potential cyberthreat,’ said Lindsay Godwin, an FBI spokeswoman.
ATT acknowledged on Wednesday there had been a data breach at the US telecom giant that allowed hackers to obtain the email addresses of owners of the 3G model of the iPad.
ATT’s 3G plan provides the mobile connectivity for the touchscreen tablet computer from Apple.

According to Silicon Valley website Valleywag, a shadowy hacking group called Goatse Security hacked into the ATT website and obtained the email addresses of over 114,000 iPad owners including those of business leaders, politicians and military officials.
Valleywag published the names of some on the list but not their full email addresses.
They included New York Times Co. chief executive Janet Robinson, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.
Earlier Thursday, retired rear-admiral Jamie Barnett, chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s public safety and homeland security bureau, expressed concern about the incident.
‘I am concerned about the report of a security breach to ATT’s network that exposed the personal data of more than a hundred thousand iPad users,’ Barnett said in a statement.
‘This breach underscores the need for robust cyber security,’ he said. ‘The FCC will continue to work with all stakeholders to prevent future security breaches that violate consumer privacy and undermine trust in America’s communications infrastructure.’
ATT apologised for the disclosure and said it has ‘turned off the feature that provided the email addresses.’
Valleywag owner Gawker Media also runs the popular technology blog Gizmodo, which obtained a secret prototype of an Apple iPhone in April after it was lost in a California bar and published details and pictures of the device.

TwitFlink: Search Links From Any Twitter Account

On Twitter there are several useful Twitter users who tweet and share useful URLs time to time. Tracking each URLs on Twitter is not an easy job. TwitFlink is a nice Twitter web app which lets you search latest URLs from the tweets. There is another nice feature in this tools which lets you search for any keyword in the link.

Using this service is very easy. Just enter the Twitter ID of any user in the given box and hit the magnifying glass icon. For example in the above given screenshot I typed @devils_workshop in the search box and it displayed all the latest tweets by this profile.

In the screen shot shown above, you can see the URLs tweeted by the Twitter user. You can also see the “filter by keyword” box. Enter the keyword inside the box and it will show the tweets containing that keyword. Obviously it’s a time saving process because searching for tweet containing keyword for any particular Twitter user is a time consuming process.
